SMT 455 DEEP BORE
The winningest "custom component" model of all time, the SMT 455 Deep Bore has a huge amount of victories on the "Long Drive Circuit. Winning back to back World Long Drive Champioships, the first South African Long Drive Challenge, and a wire to wire wins on the European Tour, just to name a few of it's hundreds of victories.
The head is as enjoyable to play as it is to striking to look at. The lower center of gravity, born from a slightly deeper than standard head design, gives your club the solid feel you desire, and making this driver extremely forgiving.
You will note the unusual lack of scoring lines on the face. This bold design is actually a function of manufacturing, as opposed to design. The goal was to make the head play as close to the .830 USGA maximum allowance, and that called for a very thin face. If scoring lines were utilized, it would have weakened the structure of the head, and compromised SMT's high quality standards.

Available right handed and left handed.
Right handed in lofts of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 degree.
Left handed in lofts of 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 degree.
As you can see by the lofts, this driver was originally developed for the long drive guys with it's extreme low lofts. Now made for the "average" person with higher lofts available.
